The best anniversary special

While I don't feel ST needs to have these specials, especially as we have a new movie and tv show coming out, they've pumped these out for the 20th, 25th, 30th, 40th and 45th anniversaries. The majority contain nothing new or are even cringe inducing, but the 25th anniversary special gave us behind the scenes work on STVI and STNG season 5. Hosted by Nimoy and Shatner, it explores the history in brief, Gave us the first televised look at bloopers.

Remains my favorite special. Have fond memories of the debut of the trailer for VI and the reveal of Captain Sulu! Remember the footage from Space Camp with LeVar and wanting to be sent there that summer.

Very estoeric inquiry, but is anyone a fan of the music used in this special? Composer is Paul Skroich according to IMDB. Pity the music isn't commercially available on a soundtrack release.

The one I like the best, I think it may have been the one for the 30th anniversary. Ted Danson was the MC. At the end they called the cast members from all 4 shows (Enterprise didn't exist yet) up on the stage.

It's also the one where Kate Mulgrew and the cast of Frasier (including the dog) did an on-stage skit.:)

I think the fan event in May turned out to be as good or better as any anniversary special could be.
