Me, too. It's actually very well written. And the sequence above involves a lot of stage-style voice projection acting (to reach everyone in the house), which was Shatner's forte. The scene is also really well blocked and directed. And it *is* hilarious!
I have fond memories of watching this episode when I was a kid. I didn't like TOS as much as TNG, because I thought TNG was soooo smart and serious. But then I saw this and laughed my head off!
Trouble with Tribbles was simply magnificent! And I'm fascinating with the fact that this Bikini Machine movie exists. For a moment, I wondered how old the trope of the sexy fembot was. Then I remembered that I watched Metropolis, and that robot acted pretty excited when she was disguised as a human. She was fully clothes though, and she acted badly to defame the human who looks just like her, so there's a some important difference. I'm trying to figure out if she counts.
