The Beatles are coming to Rock Band!

Looks like the announcement is going to come tomorrow - and Rock Band has signed the Holy Grail. The Beatles will be licensed for the Rock Band platform! Woo-hoo! Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!

No word yet on if it would be DLC or a separate disc, a la Aerosmith for GH and AC/DC for RB. When negotiations began, the talk was about The Beatles getting their own game, so I would imagine that's how it will happen. Just hope we can export the songs into RB2 as well. Awesome news.

Well there's precedent now for the export option. It seems like EA/Harmonix want people to be able to play EVERYTHING as seamlessly as possible, and I think that's a great route to take.
