No one noticed the kinda 4th wall break of mocking "changing the polarity" as a nonsense pseudo-scientific thing...but then contradicted it with the light reflection solution that just happened to be super narrow for dramatic purposes?

Also wondering if the twist is truly permanent, as another character asks for footage, which theoretically could be scrutinized to say -- no, you were wrong!

With the Outpost Alum...he seems pretty stiff in his role compared to previously. Hopefully he gets better... and seems kinda young for his rank.


And while I appreciate the lack of spoilers.... i wonder if we should be OK with it...and just condition ourselves not to look until we have seen the latest episode, coming out Wednesday at 8pm CST.

Also, while not a great series, i like some of the actors, and Dean Devlin has been on fan chats, really interacting with people. I appreciate that and want to support him. There is a Facebook group that is relatively small, but dedicated, and has hosted chats with the cast and Dean Devlin.

He's fine, more or less. The TV Guide descriptions spoiled it. Somehow he survives and ARK 1 goes back for him a few episodes later (probably episode 5.) By the back half of the season he's also back on the Home Base planet with Eva, or at least him and Eva have connected somehow. I was really sure he was done for because he has to be one of the highest paid actors on the show. They added so many new sets and guest actors that I was sure they axed him to save money.

its not like they will make a clone of you know who that got axed in season 3 episode 1 like what happened with whats his name and ian in season 2

Enjoying the new season so far. Bigger budget, larger cast, and better special effects. The Ark is the kind of old school feeling comfort food I need. I enjoy it more than Strange New Worlds. The Ark is like the little series that could.

Sure, it has its limitations, but I like the characters, the stories, and the world building (and thankfully we are getting more and more of that, and now aliens!). As for the humans, wasn't expecting the twist with the sheriff or whatever perfidy is afoot on the colony.

It feels like too many characters, and SOME of the acting seems flat. This is especially surprising for the Admiral, who was waaaaaay more fun and dynamic in the Outpost. It feels like he's phoning it in here. Which is a shame. He is a better actor than he is being directed here.


We'll see how this all comes together. I wonder if the ship full of clones is just to save money... that the actors are paid by episode? So they are saving money with some of these plots?

I am still more invested in THIS season 3 than I am for Dead City
