"The Apple" question.

Does anybody have "the Apple" on VHS, Beta or Laserdisc to answer this question.............

What color is the sky/clouds/lightning when they cut to those shots?

The DVD had the sky shots in red-- matching the painted backdrop, but the Blu-ray has them blue/gray.

I had heard that they tinted the sky shots red at some point after the original airings and I was wondering what the other formats showed prior to DVD.
