The Acid3 Test on your Mobile Device

I'm interested in seeing and comparing what the Acid3 test yields when comparing iPhone, Android, Blackberry and other mobile devices. Post your phone type, open its Default browser, and URL to - http://acid3.acidtests.org/ from your mobile device. Report what the result is.

I don't have a smart phone, but just for the hell of it, I tried it on my Samsung QWERTY phone.


It scored 4/100.

Chrome (beta, desktop): 142
Android Browser: 122
Skyfire 2.0 for Android (Beta): 122, scored 93 on Acid3
Firefox (desktop): 102
Internet Explorer 8 (desktop): 19
Opera Mini 5 (Android): 14, scored 97 on Acid3

The highest possible score is 160. I'd test my old Nokia E71, if I knew where it was.

I'm using the current version of Chrome and got 118.

I, too, got 19 for IE8. Terrible.

Doesn't even run on my Palm. What a shock.

Wow. Would not expect the list to be topped by a mobile, especially a Nokia (they've always had great hardware, they never stood out with software) good to hear they're catching up.

Final build for Android 2.2 scores 176 now on the HTML5 test. Acid3 is still 93.

iPhone 3GS Safari 185/300 with 7 bonus points.
