THE A-TEAM VAN

In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison for a crime they didn’t commit. They promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade and fled to the Los Angeles underground. Still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune.

Tracking them down has been difficult. Our best leads are sightings of a customized 1983 GMC Vandura driven by Sgt. Bosco Baracus. The vehicle is painted black and metallic gray with red trim.

If you have a problem, and no one else can help - and if you can find the van - maybe you can hire The A-Team.

Created and produced by Frank Lupo and television legend Stephen J. Cannell, The A-Team is the classic action/adventure series that ran for five seasons on NBC. It’s the story of a special forces unit on the run from the Army and the government who make a living helping people in situations that need extraordinary solutions. Among the catchphrases and actions sequences the show was famous for, one of the most iconic images is that of a chase scene involving The A-Team Van.

Most awesome. It's THE A-TEAM'S Van--that makes it awesome by default.

I particularly like that it had a sunroof that mysterious appeared and disappeared, according to the needs of the script and the storage space in the back apparently utilized Tardis technology, as the amount of guns, ammo and explosives that could stored there was apparently infinite.

Awesome van. I wanted one as a kid!
I do like the homage to the van in the A-Team movie. Poor girl...

Are these threads a parody of the unfairly banned Babe of the Week topics?

I've been dong this for more than a year now. Why would I waste that much time and energy on a parody?

No, they're not parody. As I said way back in the first Ship Of The Week thread, they're a less controversial replacement.

I voted Meh..., but it's on the border of awesome. I always wanted Bonnie and RC3 from Knight Rider to get hold of it and make some adjustments. THEN, it would have definitely been awesome. :D

Definitely, I'm not even sure how often the Corvette was seen, or when it first showed up, it just always left an impression on me (probably because Face was my favourite member of the team)
