Anyone else following these? I saw Cirroc Lofton joined Twitter recently and that led me to his podcast with Ryan Husk. From what I've seen, it was started by Aron Eisenberg to review Discovery, but then grew into a re-watch of DS9. After Aron's passing, they kept it going and it's a great tribute to him, as they always take time each episode to talk about Aron, his impact, and his legacy.

This past week they had Alexander Siddig and Nicole DeBoer on in the past few weeks, and they've previously had others, as well. Cirroc said in yesterday's AMA that he's still in touch with Avery, so there's a (small) chance that might happen. A larger chance is that they'll get LeVar Burton on when they get up to an episode he directed (they're currently on early season 3).

With the pandemic, the fact that I've been (slowly) re-reading the relaunch novels, and finding this podcast, I've started re-watching the show myself. There's just something so comforting about it, and the more I see of the podcast, the more sense I get of just how the cast and crew of DS9 were just wonderful human beings.

I've been watching. It's interesting as the perspective of an adult who is rediscovering, perhaps even discovering, what he was working on when he was a child actor. It's also great that they have been getting all the DS9 actors on to talk about their experiences. I wish that Cirroc would put a different angle on his camera--I'm tired of seeing the bottom of his jaw. I hope he can convince Brooks to come on, even if they don't talk Trek.

Their recent chat with Andrew Robinson is great.

It's also interesting because it's pretty clear he hasn't been immersed in Star Trek since he stopped filming, so there's something great about seeing him re-discover it is interesting.

I think he's not that technically adept. Ryan seems to be the technical one. Hopefully post-pandemic, he can get to Cirroc's and help him with his set-up.
