That's not funny

I'm just wondering why the PIANO at least wasn't bolted down. In some ways, the video is funny. In others, I was wondering who was going to get plastered to the wall by the out-of-control piano rolling back and forth.

I think that if people put their own mistakes or misfortunes out there as funny--if they see the humor in it, too, then it's just a case of laughing WITH someone. Nothing wrong at all there. What I don't like is taking joy in it when someone is clearly NOT enjoying the potentially humorous side of their situation.

I agree...however I only find the skateboarding mishaps funny because it was something I was into when I was younger and can relate to some of it.

For the first video, I think I found it funny until I saw the person go face first into the column and collapse. That's when it got a bit too serious. As always, there's a line. Sometimes it's OK to laugh at others misfortune, other times, it's better to sober up and say, yeah, now it's serious.

I didn't even see the woman faceplanting against the column the first few times. And yeah, that's over the line for me too. But then it gets funny again: the guy sliding by at ~0:59 is the funniest part of the clip.

I seem to recall a comedy sketch somewhere with a guy trying to play a piano on a cruise ship in high seas, and both the piano and the pianostool he was sitting on had castors on. It was pretty funny; they'd both be sliding across the floor, and he would play a few bars every time they synched up. :D

Anyone remember where this was from?

My pleasure.

I'm thinking something 70s or 80s? Tommy Cooper? Morecambe & Wise? National Lampoon? Naked Gun?

Could be. Or Kenny Everett? It's got the feel of that kind of show, hasn't it.... Saturday/Sunday night variety entertainment.
Even when I was little I hated Saturday/Sunday night variety shows so that's why I probably can't really remember it.

Could that sketch have been one by The Two Ronnies?

Ronnie Corbett used to play the piano in sketches.
