thats a BIG one

When we watch TNG or DS9, and they show a Romulan Warbird, they really don't do a good job of showing just how BIG that ship is...does anyone know where I can go to show my wife and friends a picture of some kind of size relativity of the the Warbird???

None of them are quite right anyway. The intended design length was 4,440 feet, so yeah, she was meant to be a monster.

The best is probably to sit down and watch the TNG first season finale "The Neutral Zone." She correctly dwarfs the Enterprise-D there, and it is actually sorta in the script that she intimidates everyone, which is something you don't see too often in Trek.

The Ben Potter charts at EAS have things almost right, so those would make a good cut n' paste simple comparison, with slight rescaling easy in good software.

So strange. It is really quite amazing how it all compares, if this is accurate. Most Babylon 5 ships are bigger than star trek ships... and the size of the super star destroyer... my goodness!

Yeah, that's the only episodes that does a good job at showing the difference in size between Starfleet's biggest and the Romulan Warbird.
