That Star Trek game that was due out this summer

For the life of me, I can't remember the name of it. I think it was meant to be a free online game, due for release in the summer this year.

Anyone got any further details on this? Has it been shelved? Doesn't seem to be anything about it in this forum.

Just gave it a quick google. Here's the website for it:

Release date just says 2011, so that's not much help.

Graphics don't look as good as STO judging from the screenshots, but that's not important for me. The scaling looks quite bad though, which does bother me.

Cheers for the link. I've signed on to the newsletter. I'll be curious to see how browser-based works. If it works this may well be the future of gaming - common platform and all that. Just need the engine and you could play on a web-enabled TV.

The fact the plug-in exists for the Mac means I could actually play this without doing something goofy like booting into Windows or running an emulator. Of course it could end up vapourware as well...
