I thought there was a pic of Rey and Chewie at the controls together.

But yeah, I don't know how people CAN'T see that it's Chewie she's crying over. You can CLEARLY see his bandolier and wisps of fur. It's the "head"(?)configuration on the left of screen in that scene that's hard to fathom.

Yeah I love that as well. The blades actually look dangerous and powerful again, and like they're made of energy and not just solid fluorescent tubes.

And I'm also glad to hear it confirmed by JJ that the lightsaber battles are going to be much less slick and choreographed and more brutal and aggressive like in the OT:
