You know you would think people would be happy about a large well known entity becoming an advertising partner with Trek, its not like their is going to be an insane amount of product placement within this film (unless the new film suggests Intel are the manufacturers of processors for the Constitution class).
That said its not really a quiz to test Trek knowlege it is simply an attempt to make the site more interactive than a typical information website.
So anywho, care to explain why it reeks of desperation?

Your statement seems like one of those "I want to put a negative spin on everything surrounding this film" type of statement. I think that if other companies failed to cross-promote their product with this film, you would have said "look -- this film must be bad; no other companies want to associate their product with it" .
Product cross-promotion is standard operating procedure for "blockbuster-style" films. It has nothing to do with "desperation".

yes it is. but i wish you could get more than just one.i'd like to see some of the other vessels in this movie.
We've still got a half a year for Intel to divulge the other vessels. I wish it was still coming out this month.

EDIT: I stand corrected. It let me do the dumb thing. And I've seen the pic before. So it was even MORE a waste of time than I'd thought...
