Terralysium in the 32nd Century

How do you think the planet has evolved, over 1100 years after Dr Burnham brought the settlers there and 930 years after the Discovery gave it a new power source? Will it have a big role in Season 3, if at all?

I reckon New Eden will now look like this:

where Doctor Burham is their leader, and the Discovery crew are revered and considered its patron saints.

I also think it'll be the main planet for the entire season.
Why would it have become an O'Neill Cylinder?

I suspect now that Control has been neutralized, its effects might ripple through the timeline and the Terralysium Discovery finds would be wildly different from the one Dr. Burnham used as a home base. She did change the planet's history already by transplanting the church there and arriving back in the future to find what she described as a thriving human community there. Who knows what changes Control's absence would lead to?
