i dig the design. I also like the fact that Empok Nor and Terek Nor were likely the smallest Cardie space staitions, and that this was more of a "real" space station

Nice little side tidbit to add to this thread: apparently non-Trekkies see the Art Deco influence in Cardassian designs as well.
I went to an SFF con wearing a pin with the symbol of the Union, and this lady who was a costume designer told me she'd been fascinated by the pin for a couple days because of what she immediately called out as a Deco influence. So apparently it's not just me.

!(Also they do Galor badges now? that is pretty cool, it's one of the few Sci-fi symbols that I would ever consider wearing, was it the gold Legate version?)

No...its colors are actually a bit different from anything that we ever saw in the series, but considering how many times the Cardassian insignia changed colors, I'm not bothered by that. Go to eBay and search "Cardassian pin" and it should come up.
^ The dark green and red does seem to work, it fits better than the mainstream Galor that we see on DS9.
