Humans have a variety of skin tone from dark brown to light peachy color...close to white. Why no green, blue or purple???

A woman with green skin/red hair=hot
A woman with blue skin/white hair=hot
A woman with purple skin/black hair=hot

hopefully you see what I mean.

Of course this is all in my imagination...but I am sure I'd be cool with it.

[edit] My be it is my eye sight, but I thought Cardassians had black hair and purple/pale purple skin???

You do realize those women would qualify for hot without colored make up on their skin, right?

Nope...Cardassians are grey (a few are beige). They mostly have black hair, though it can sometimes show some dark brown shades. (Lighter in a few minority cases--usually either hybrids, or the same ones that are beige-skinned.)

Hey, what with genetic engineering and all, it might happen someday. I could definitely see some of the more extreme punk rocker types giving their kids "other"-colored skin, though they might start with, say, genetically purple/blue hair... Priority number one, though, will no doubt remain finding healthy, "organic" (if that term makes any sense in this context) means of adjusting body fat production to reduce unwanted flab, or, in the case of unhealthily-skinny people, to add some muscle.

In the more immediate sense, however, I agree with the OP, and hope that when I finally get my next gf, she'll be up for the occasional body painting. I'd have to offer to reciprocate, of course... :p

Btw, excellent thread title!

I blame the title on drinking too much, but yeah it is very cool. :)

Why is blue or green or purple bad? I am tired of these peachy & olive tones...

Purplish tint = a nice soak in a bathtub full of Welch's Grape Juice. (Not that I know for sure that would work. :shifty:)
