TARDIS disappears in Oklahoma

Only that it wasn't stolen, the teen used it to get rid of a school rival. The other kid climbed inside and the TARDIS rematerialized in the 16th century as it was preprogrammed to do.

That's just messed up. Not only is it's someone's personal property (I assume), but, it's a shelter for a bus stop

Obviously it's the workings of the Church (by the order of the Papal supercomputer). First Amy's baby, next a little girls fake TARDIS when will the religions insanity end.

Ha! Hilarious. I guess that must be a popular drawing to spoof. Fringe did something like this, making it look like one of the observers was there (on the far right).

Anyway, it's not even that great a replica... they could have at least put the proper signage on it, to help make it look more realistic. It weighs 300lbs? Why bother stealing it. That's just mean. Well, something that big will eventually get spotted... and then hopefully the criminals will be arrested and charged for the theft.

:)
No, it's not that great a replica, but it was a work of pride for a little girl and her father. Interesting that it cost in dollars the same amount it weighed in pounds ...

Anyway, I'm holding out hope it was stolen by college pranksters who will have the thing showing up around the country over the summer in pictures, then anonymously returned before summer break is over and in time for it to resume to service as a bus shelter.

I put my image up in a Fringe discussion thread after that episode aired to show folks "what the original" looked like. No one noticed the little blue box ... I even got into a protracted discussion about the architecture of Boston's State House (the building against which the TARDIS is nestled), where we discussed features such as the history of the building's sun dial clock and balcony. I guess that means I did a good job mimicking Revere's style.

Looks like the story had a happy ending:

The best part is the graphic under the girl's name at 1:08 - "Happy Her Tardis Replaced"

Apparently whoever was recording the news broadcast stopped a little too short. She was about to do a story on Prisoner Zero re-escape.
