A shame. This could have been one of the best Trek projects in a long time. I blame the excessive time spent concentrating on the CBS/Viacom merger. Tarantino is not someone who likes to sit still for too long, and when these two massive corporations steer in this much of a different direction, there are always going to be things postponed and ultimately left behind. I think they’re still trying to figure out what to do with the Abrams version, whether or not to continue with that, or go back to the Prime Universe well now that Discovery and Picard are taking hold of the franchise.

I think Taratino will be much happier moving on to his own projects.

And I will be much happier that he has moved on.
