Okay, I'm addicted to walking. I walk everyday. To the store, for a meal, for a snack, or just to be outside walking and listening to stories on my iPod.

What I need are the phrases and smart comments teenagers well out the car window today when riding around in some one else's car, and they see people not being cool by actually using feet to get around.

Anyone have any quick short one's they use often? It's hard to hear them some times and I feel like I'm missing some thing really cute.

How about, "Go fuck yourself!"

That's a fan-favorite and to the point considering that you have to be brief because they're in a car and your on foot and they'll be a mile down the road before they finish anything longer and you'll hear it.

Personally, I always feel sad for people when I see them walking, don't know why.

But people who ride the bus... those people I just make fun of. I mean seriously... what kind of loser rides the bus? Nobody does it by choice. You have to have fucked up somewhere along the way in your life to be forced to take the bus.

But then again, maybe people who are walking are just walking to the bus stop and maybe i should just start making fun of them too. definitely something to reconsider.

Garrovick, I think you've given me a new activity to entertain myself with while driving.

I ride the bus by choice. I have never been the slighest interest in learning to drive. The buses here are clean and, on the whole, the majority of drivers and pasengers, are polite. I have had many an interesting conversation at the bus-stop and on the bus and have made friends with people I have met this way.

My buses run every half hour and if I wlk to th main road they run about every 10 minutes. I don't have to worry about parking, about the expense of running a car, and the buses go to most places I would want to go. I can get a day rover for $2.90 and catch as many buses on it in a day as I want to.

I also walk to the shopping center and back at lest three time a week. Most people I pass say "Hello" "Good morning" "Good Afternoon" etc when I walk by.

No driver has ever shouted out rude comments as theyw ere passing me. However last New Years Eve, just around 9pm I decided to walk down to a nearby beach. From this beach I have a wonderful view of the fireworks across the river and I decided to take some photos of the Children's Fireworks that started at 9.30pm.

I was walking along young guys started to slow down and shout out the window "Hi Darling what are you doing?" and "Do you what a lift?". I must of looked younger from behind. As they got close to and realised I was old enough to by their mother they got an embarassed look on their face and sped off. I had a good laugh at them.
