Are puppets 2D or 3D? I guess if they're paper bags and marker it doesn't much matter. And yes, those are YouTube links, just to prove I'm crazy. (the quality {ha ha} will improve when I have a cameraman) Kirk and Spock http://youtu.be/wkeiZLAU918 http://youtu.be/cWEvgULSKso Klingons!!! More serious... And less so. http://youtu.be/tELC_nmCXN4 http://youtu.be/52xcCqKdKeU Dammit, how the heck do you embed video??
Not bad, not bad at all. A good camera and audio setup and maybe a background set matching the style of the puppets, and this could be gold.
I got to say, a cardboard set would work well. We don't actually have to go big budget. This is meant to get some laughs, and these will certainly get some laughs.
For establishing shots of the Enterprise, you should find an old style metal Star Trek lunch box and hang it in front of construction paper with stars painted on it.
LOL...those are very unique, well-made, and very funny. Love 'em! Some simple 2-D backgrounds could work well for a project starring these characters.
Those have a very distinctive and appealing style, seriously! Uh, I mean, honestly. (I'll have to return home before I can view the clips.) Those first two Klingons are particularly interesting. They almost seem to have quasi felinoid features with their slitted pupils and wedge shaped noses. Forcing an inter-species breeding program with Caitian POWs? (I know, reading too much into a fun activity.) I eagerly await the opportunity to view your clips. Sincerely, Bill

No incendiary plans Potemkin, at least not yet. Thanks for the compliment Hilbilly, and to answer your question, during TNG Klingons were drunken, hair-band, headbangers; so rednecks isn't that big a change.
