Just got back from this movie.

Don't recall any threads on it but I may have missed them.

Just wanted to say it was a great movie and that hot as Maggie Grace is as brunette she can't play a teenager. "OMG!! DADDY YOU GAVE ME A KARAOKIE MACHINE!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! SEND ME TO PARIS!!!"

And apparently being a dumb hot teenage girl in Paris is not a good idea. ;)

And Liam? You were awesome and all, but you're no Jack Bauer! ;)

But no, it was good movie, good action, good fight scenes, just an all around pretty good entertainment.

There have been a couple of threads. In combat style he was more Jason Borne but in mission focus he was pure Jack Bauer

why didn't his old team go with him. They knew the family. I know if one of my old team mates had a problem, we go

He didn't ask? Not sure.

But this was personal and far more effective like that.

Normally you always see the Band of Brothers in these types of shows but remeber he was in France illegally and the team no longer had a Secretary to ignore them should they be killed or captured to steal a phrase from another show. Besides while the exwife may have married a rich guy what people really can afford a team of mercenaries? Sort of like the movie Proof of Life it was the kidnap insurance which paid the bills until the mercenary got personally invovled. He only got help in the end because a combat junkie was his friend.

I absolutely enjoyed this movie. I thought it was a very intense, pretty well acted (I wanted to punch the daughter though) movie. I thought Liam Neeson did a great job.
