About Us
Tactical Impact is an international group of friends with a passion for gaming and Star Trek who come from all over the world. Our core group consists of players who share a passion for Roddenberry’s brainchild which has has never faltered, in fact, we use that to our advantage with more than 100 years of combined passion and knowledge for our beloved franchise. That is what has brought us all together in Star Trek Online.
Our flexible STF schedule does not limit our ability to reach the top. Playing hard or fun is important, but we also believe playing smart is greater. Many of our members are working professionals, full-time students, or new parents. We often bring our real life skills into the game to give us an extra edge. Be it expertise in math, management, or artistic vision, we apply our out-of-game talents to every challenge we face.
We prefer to work efficiently, taking full advantage of our Fleet forums and Teamspeak to stay well-informed and coordinated. We also enjoy having great conversation, and laughs on Teamspeak. But when STF time rolls around, we throw the gauntlet down, and prepare to kick butt. Events are strategized in advance, recorded on video, and posted to review our own performance as we're always looking for ways to improve. We encourage skillful play, quick thinking, and adaptability for our End Game members. But we don't exclude those who just want to have a great time and immerse them selves in the Star Trek Online universe.
By emphasizing good communication and excellent teamwork, we meet our in-game goals without the sacrifice of a healthy personal life.
Our Fleet has been growing, and adapting to the changes of the game as it has evolved. Our members have built a long-lasting friendship that extends beyond STO. We are always looking for like-minded people with positive and colorful personalities to play with and join our ever growing family.

Active – You enjoy the game as much as possible!
Someone who enjoys exploring all the game has to offer, be it leveling, crafting, STF's, or anything else in between. Sometimes it’s about the journey, not the destination. Active players are invested in the game and the Fleet!
Mature – You can take a joke and dish ‘em out!
Applicants are not limited by age, but they must be intelligent, considerate, and enjoy friendly banter. A good sense of humor is totally a must! We don't like drama; we’re all here to have a great time together!
Reliable – You’re responsible and can be counted on!
Our players are able to follow a schedule. They check the forums frequently, and communicate with members and leaders. We consider communication one of the most important aspects to a successful Fleet. If you signed up for an Event and can’t make it, please let your fleet mates know!
Skillful – You desire to play at the maximum potential you can achieve!
You can do this using your past knowledge and experience of game mechanics, or by investing time to research, test new builds, or practice playing your role until you can execute it with precision. If there is something you can't figure out on your own please feel free to ask. We're all here for each other!
Motivated – You want to get things done to better yourself and the Fleet!
