I was thinking more along the lines of some sirloin on a stripper clip for quick and easy consumption

We carried a lot of different food on foot patrols in Iraq, usually field stripped MREs, energy bars, candy, trailmix. Never anything in a can though, cans are too bulky to be true tactical food.

Uh, no. PETA doesn't have a religious objection to bacon. Mr. B presumably meant Jews and Muslims, who are forbidden from eating anything from pigs (or even touching them or anything that has touched one.)
I kind figured that Its funny that thats the one thing they seem to have in common, but they still hate each others guts, but thats another thread.
It's called filet mignon, and it's delicious (though I would not want to eat a canned version... blegh).
