Sylvia Anderson who along with Gerry Anderson gave use shows like Thunderbirds, Space:1999, UFO etc etc has passed away aged 88 following a short illness.

Agree. Sylvia and Gerry made a great team. Space:1999 was best when she was there in season one. Season two would have been far superior if Sylvia had been there too.

She was a pioneer in fantasy TV, and brought joy to about 2 generations of viewers around the world. She's on her own journey now, and will be missed.
