Shinawatra needs to get back in touch with reality. Compared to where they've been over the last few years, getting them anywhere near the European qualification positions is an achievement. They play a better standard of football and with a few more shrewd signings over the summer I think they'd do even better next year.

Absolutely farcical situation, highlighting once again that foreign ownership isn't necessarily a good thing.

Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. Shinawatra is an idiot. Didn't they finish near the relegation places last year, and this year they're flirting with the UEFA Cup places?

Classic case of a meddling, impatient owner sticking his oar in when it's not wanted. I'm no great fan of Ericsson, but he'd got the team going in the right direction after several years of mediocrity and deserves better than to be canned after just one season. It's a well-known fact that changing managers every few months is a recipe for disaster (i.e relegation) but Shinawatra obviously thinks he knows better
