On the Web site Suvudu.com there is a cage match where 32 heroes and villains from fiction are matched up a la March Madness. Each match has a narrative of a hypothetical match up. Imagine Captain Kirk vs Aragorn. And no the contestants can't pass because they are fighting on the same side. 32 narratives are up and 16 have been completed.
My biggest beef is that NO Star Trek characters were included. LOTR, Harry Potter, and D&D pocket fiction scored 2 entriesa piece(Gandalf, Aragorn, Hermoine Grainger, Dumbledore, Drizzt do'Urden and Raistlin Majere respectively). Posters at the forum argued it was mainly for Fantasy not Sci Fi. They did have Hiro Protagonist, Ender Wiggin, Stephen King's Gunfighter, Harry Dresden, and Anita Blake. Those characters seem pretty SciFi to me.
Oh well with our luck they'd say here's your Trek Character: Wesley Crusher vs. Chthulu in the 1st round
with Deanna Troi saying from the side, "I sense great danger!" Yes Chthulu(Scifi-Fantasy-Horror) scored an entry as the number #2 seed. Shrike #1(pretty SciFi!), Aslan#3, and Gandalf#4.

If Suvudu has another Cage match in the future any Trek or other spurned heroes to suggest? They left snubbed Star Wars, Dr. Who, Babylon 5, and BattleStar Galactica. So ST was not alone.
My suggestions for Trek entries would be:

The Borg collective led by Locutus
Spock
Seven of Nine
Captain Cisco
Gul Dukat
Garak
The max seems to be 2 per fictional series. BTW the entries would be stand alone and not on a team.

Hans Solo
Jabba the Hut
Chewbacca
