Spoilers Supernatural - Season 12

Okay, we're about a month out from the Season 12 premiere, but news on the next season is starting to trickle out so I thought a a fresh thread is in order. This was announced today:

TVLine.com

The return of Aaron Bass (yay!) hopefully means the return of the Golem, too. I loved the "Everybody Hates Hitler" episode and always thought that it worked well as a back-door pilot for a Supernatural spin-off show (Possible title: Roll'Em and Golem) that I would happily watch. I'm also glad they're developing the Thule stuff this season since it sounds like an interesting new direction to take the series in.

I can't wait to see what they do with the Mary character this season. The British Men of Letters should also be a fine source of new stories in the new season (I may be one of the few posters here that liked the Woman of Letters that shot Sam in the finale, so I could be biased).

Oh, I soooo hope they bring back Aaron and The Golem. Those two were hilarious.

The Golem: He observes none of the mitzvahs. He labors on the Sabbath. He feasts on swine...
Aaron Bass: It was BACON. Everybody loves bacon!

 The Golem is the ultimate straight man.

It was hilarious that Aaron used the instructions for the Golem as rolling papers.

But.......Rick Sprinfield as Lucy.......weird. I would rather have Pelligrino back. I know he's a busy guy, but, in my heart, no one can really be Lucy but him. Well, except for Sam...and Cas...and...oh never mind.

Eleven years ago today, Supernatural premiered on the WB. In honor of this occasion, TVLine.com has declared this date as Supernatural Day.

So: Happy Supernatural Day, everyone!

I will celebrate Supernatural Day by cutting the palm of my hand for the 300th time to spill my blood for a spell. 300 cuts and no scars whatsoever.

Happy Supernatural Day!

You *will* celebrate it; you WILL!

I'm looking forward to this season a lot. Hopefully Mary will become part of the team-- how can having your younger mother as the backseat driver in your classic Impala-based monster-killing squad not liven things up? Also, I hope the introduction of the British Men of Letters means that they will finally do something with the American Men of Letters besides use the bunker as a crash pad. They need to start recruiting! If they had recruited Charlie, she would probably still be alive.

I couldn't agree more. I loved those characters and was hoping they would be used for the spinoff, or at least recruited for Men of Letters so that we could see them more often.

Alice Cooper is the new villain!!!

Um.....that's Rick Springfield.
The point is probably moot.

Well, I'll be waiting until May next year to watch this season after thoroughly enjoying S11 (I like binging the show over a weekend/week), so I will continue to ponder whether they get a cleaning person in to make sure the Bunker looks spick and span, or if the boys have a chore rota.

I'm still struggling with the idea that Dean does ironing (even with beer), let alone mopping the floor, dusting the library, cleaning the roof of the microwave.

Hugo - it's Sam, poor, damned Sammy
