I'm glad I didn't. While season three stunk out loud, I really didn't mind season four. It wasn't amazing by any stretch of the imagination, but I enjoyed it.

I will have to disagree that season four wasn't amazing (as well as that season three stunk out loud -- or even, you know, quietly). Still, your general point is well taken, which is to watch more Supergirl. 
It would be a gift to stop at season one.
