It's a buzzword that people use to hide their racism, homophobia and misogyny by putting down projects that highlight people that that they don't want to have a seat at the table. Similar to buzzwords like "virtue signaling" and "White knight".

That's not what it means but nice try. It has more than one meaning now. Its used as a weapon by both parties trying to win the culture war. People on both sides can get pretty nasty and obnoxious. Below is a more official definition.

Funny enough, I put up a review here from a youtuber who isnt a click baiter. He is always fair and balanced in his reviews going over the positives and the negatives. He was discarded as not important because he didnt have a wiki page.

I guess people just have agendas. Maybe they only review movies that make them angry or get them clicks I doubt anyone on these two sides of the culture watched and reviewed The Devil Wears Prada II. Lol. There are agenda driven youtubers on both sides from my limited research. There are good reviewers out there that review movies like siskel and ebert used to.

When I watch old movies thst I haven't seen and if there is a siskel and ebert review of it on YouTube I watch that first. I watch their reviews on movies I have even saw already. Really fun reviews. I wish they were still here.
Of course, but the idea that YouTube gets a pass as necessary commentary is one I struggle with. I'd rather have Interactivity with opinions, not sound bites.
And I use to thoroughly enjoy podcasts and movie critics until I realized it was all very impersonal.
