I've seen it three times now, and at first I did think the ending was a bit weak, but now I actually like it and think it's a beautiful film.

If you want to see it for the visuals, go for it. It's okay in that respect.
If you want a good story, avoid it like the plague.

I enjoyed this one quite a bit, but it probably helped that I knew going into it to expect "Alien" moreso than "2001" so I wasn't surprised by how it finished. An imperfect film, to say the least, but I give Boyle a lot of credit for at least attempting this, given that there isn't much of an audience for this type of movie.

And the soundtrack is absolutely wonderful. It's available on iTunes, and I listen to it quite a bit.

I luckily had a buddy who somehow got a copy months before it hit the theaters and he let me see it for free. It was horrible. It starts out okay, but the ending was terrible and didn't make any sense. I'm glad I didnt pay to see this crap.

It's god awful.

The movie looks amazing, but it's boring with a very limited plot. Then there is that odd twist at the end that makes no sense at all, horrible, simply horrible.

Yes, I was debating if I should even finish the movie or not, I decided to finish it.
