Suggest new Nvidia GFX card

The fan has gone out on my 9800 GT and I would like to know what my options are for a new card or a new fan.

A). What is an upgrade to the card still in the NVidia family of cards that is less than 150?

B). is it possible to get a new heat sink and fan for the card? and who would I talk to about it?

Upgrade to a 450 GTS. It's MUCH better than the 9800 GT and about $150.

Does it require a PCI-e 2.0 slot or will it function in a 1.0 slot?

Just got a new PC in house yesterday and it came with this card, seems a cheap but good card...middle range when compared to others so should be good for gaming for next 18-24 months.
