Now the work begins: spacewalk tomorrow - be sure to tune in at: http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/

^Yes I am!

And this being said on a trekkie message board on the internet: I'm not even embarrassed to say that I watch NASA-TV!

Not that I'm telling you my RL name or address or phone number or whom I might be on FB or anything though -I'm not daft you know!

Too much lens flare.

I missed the docking, but I did discover that the NASA site has downloadable 3D models. :bolian:

glad i wasnt the only one who watches nasa tv:)
it was the first time i watched it for ages got to admit i quite enjoyed it, though my other half did make a comment aboutme not docking first time but i digress. thanks trekkiedane great pics

I've never been that interested in the shuttle missions, but I watched the launch mid week because of the other link you posted. It's the first launch I've watched actually, and I was quite surprised how quick it gets up there. I'd never really thought about it before. Space isn't that far away really. :)

I

the webcasts. They are hours of suspense ending in an 8½ minute release ;)

Well, if your car could go vertical, space would only be ½ an hour away...

I'm watching a live webcast (Surprise!!!):

SRMS handoff ICC to SSRMS

SSRMS installs ICC on MBS POA
Luckily the TV schedule comes with a APPENDIX named: "DEFINITION OF TERMS":

  • SRMS: Suttle Remote Manipulator system
  • ICC: Integrated Cargo Carrier
  • SSRMS: Space Station Remote Manipulator System
  • MBS: Mobile Base System
  • POA: Payload/ORU Attachment

Given the amount of fuel those boosters burn per second, it better not take long!
