I just discovered that this existed. It's a new Documentary about the comic strip industry and its struggle surviving the digital age. Lots of interviews with artists, including a rare interview with Bill Watterson, creator of Calvin and Hobbes (who also did the poster art!)

When I was a kid, the highlight of my day was getting home from school and looking at the funny pages. I read all of them, even ones I didn't like very much. Calvin and Hobbes became my favorite strip. I also loved Peanuts, Garfield, The Far Side. Mostly the ones that made me laugh. Although I did read some semi-serious strips like For Better or For Worse.

How about you guys? Anybody else looking forward to this? What are some of your favorite strips?

Looks interesting. It's already available on iTunes but I wonder if/when it will be on Netflix.

This describes me almost exactly. Thanks for the heads up. I'll definitely be checking this out.
