I just discovered that this existed. It's a new Documentary about the comic strip industry and its struggle surviving the digital age. Lots of interviews with artists, including a rare interview with Bill Watterson, creator of Calvin and Hobbes (who also did the poster art!)
When I was a kid, the highlight of my day was getting home from school and looking at the funny pages. I read all of them, even ones I didn't like very much. Calvin and Hobbes became my favorite strip. I also loved Peanuts, Garfield, The Far Side. Mostly the ones that made me laugh. Although I did read some semi-serious strips like For Better or For Worse.
How about you guys? Anybody else looking forward to this? What are some of your favorite strips?
