STNV Kitumba Script

Firebird

I managed to find a cache of scripts for New Voyages online, which make for fascinating reading materials. The most interesting one is Kitumba, which is just a 15-page "Replace Malkthon and Kali" draft from (I assume) November, 2009. I'd be interested to see what the original shooting script of the episode looked like to compare them (as well as the OG Phase II draft) - does anyone have any leads on where to find a PDF of it?

I figure with the series now effectively over and enough time has passed since the episode was released, it shouldn't be a big deal to post this here, but if the mods feel it's not appropriate to ask, go ahead and remove/lock this thread.

Hey, I am new here and have been following New Voyages/Phase II for years. Where did you find the script? I would love to read them and if there are any unfilmed scripts.

The unreleased episodes look really, really good and it’s to bad we may never get to see them. The Protracted Man, Bread and Savagery and Torment of Destiny all look fantastic. I actually have the illustrated script for Torment of Destiny that I received from them from their Kickstarter, it looks fantastic.

Years ago I read about a Kitumba fanedit that improves the pacing and trimmed some filler and made it more like a real TOS episode structurally, but P2 freaked out and it was gone before I ever found it. I've always been curious about that. IMO their earlier efforts were much better then their later ones, so I'm always intrigued by improvements lol.

The actual story was, James Cawley and the P2 people were taking their time in releasing it, and it was the director of that episode (in this case Vic Mignona who not long after started Star Trek Continues) who took it upon himself to release an unauthorized director's cut.

(I notice you are in that very thread, also mentioning the very same long gone edit)
While I don't doubt someone could have taken the time to trim the episode for their amusement, if you don't have access to the original Sound FX, music and dialogue tracks, any resulting edit is going to be really annoying to listen to.

I know about the Vic version, but this was one that a fan made based on the full length released episode. I would be interested in viewing either one, of course, but I was definitely referring to an actual fanedit. There are some extremely professional quality edits of various movies that I consider superior to the originals, or at least I prefer watching. The entire concept and the amount of time people put in to these things has always impressed and intrigued me.
