It has been exactly eleven months, but there is no acknowledgement on the Trek BBS of the October 24, 2025 death of Steven W. Carabatsos, script consultant on eleven episodes of the first season of TOS. Better late than never....

Sad times like these make me glad, as a very small silver lining, that we have the additional types of reactions besides just "likes."

Mr. Carabatsos did a lot of great things for the show. RIP.

Yes, I just rewatched Operation: Annihilate which was written by Mr. Carabatsos. While it’s not my favorite TOS episode, it is interesting in many aspects. It’s certainly better than some of the season 3 travesties.

RIP. A fine television writer. He wrote the best episode (imho) of "The Big Valley," also entitled "Court Martial."

Sir Rhosis

He got milage out of the title, at any rate.

It's better than a few first and second season "travesties" also.
