Possibly the greatest genius of our time. Cheesy as it may be, my fondest memory of him is playing poker with Data, Einstein and Newton!
    Rest in peace, Stephen.

He basically lived 50 years longer than he was expected to, had a family, and greatly contributed to scientific understanding in the 20th century. What a life.

    Yes, a great loss.

Now we need to encourage the next minds, the next thinkers.

The world is a little darker for the loss of one of it's brighter lights.

    RIP, Great Sir

Heartbreaking news. I'll always remember him telling Sheldon that he had made a math error, causing him to faint!
God Bless you Stephen. You gave us so much.....!

RIP, Mr Hawking... and thank you for making theoretical physics more accessible! (and for having a good sense of humor!).

When Sheldon fainted in front of him you could tell he thought that was genuinely funny...

I doubt anybody can take his place. May he rest in peace.
