steam holiday sale

KOTOR doesn't have an online death match, so...count me out.

No, really, are there any good online shooters for Star Wars? How's Republic Commando in that regard?

That THQ complete pack is insanely good for the price if you don't have any of the games... I picked up the madballs, osmosis, KOTOR, and far cry 2 out of their deals so far, something like $16.50 total.

I don't even have any intention of playing KOTOR, but at the price...why not? If I ever do feel like playing through it, a Steam install is mighty convenient.

Seriously, if I could gift copies of games bought from packs, I would have picked up the THQ pack - even though I have the console versions of all their non-PC games. Oh well.

Still, spending a crap load of money on this thing... Christmas is going to be worse, I presume (I spent 500 bucks last Christmas :p )

I just picked up KOTOR as well. While I already own it on the original XBOX, if the mood ever strikes me I will always have access to it on my computer ;)

I picked up KOTOR as well. Played it not long after it first came out, when I borrowed a copy from a friend, but for $2.49, I can afford to splurge on a replay. ;)

Kind of dead deals today - Tackmania and BF2 though. I have to resist buying them again just to get them on Steam. :p

Valve saw me coming during the holiday sale.

Needless to say my wallet is not looking forward to their post Christmas holiday sale.

^Nice, my Nov 26 and 27 were the exact same as yours. My Nov 30 would've been had I convinced myself to repurchase Battlefield 2 just so I could have Steam manage it instead of the atrocious 5 or 6 CD install I deal with from my 'deluxe edition'

Picked up Osmos last weekend for $2. Currently downloading Tomb Raider: Underworld. Haven't played one of those games in ages. But for $7.50, it was worth taking a shot. Still thinking about $9.95 for Zombie Shooter 2.

Props to Steam for helping out us broke gamers. :)
