Starlog, pretty much the top SF/F magazine from the '70s to the 2000s, has had a revival announced, with a companion podcast and email newsletter:

Annalee Newitz is Editor-in-Chief, with Meredith Borders as Senior Editor, and Jason Kauzlarich as Senior Art Director. Jordon Hoffman is hosting and Dave Gonzales is producing the podcast, and Hoffman is also writing their newsletter, the Lodestar.

The podcast is already live, and the website has an entry to sign up for the newletter. The actual magazine will begin going out later this year, though the website doesn't specify if it'll be monthly, quarterly, or what.

Great news! My only healthy reservation is reminding myself that I am not a teenager and it’s not the 90s anymore. Similar to people wanting Toys R Us stores to return - reminder it’s not going to be selling the same stuff they did in your youth. My point I bought Starlog in my teens and buy older stuff still I never had. But can never have the same attachment I do to new stuff as movies and tv shows from my youth.

That healthy realism aside I am excited. Curious what will make this specifically Starlog when there are so many ways of getting coverage from other sources now.

I'm not expecting anything familiar. I just think that if you're starting a media website it's hard to beat a trademarked name that's still fairly widely known, and has a long reputation. And "Starlog" is, honestly, a great name.

I mean, you got people out there naming their crap things like "Screenrant" and "Cosmic Book News." Real desperation for something to catch people's attention.

"Cosmic Book?" Seriously?

Annalee Newitz's involvement as editor-in-chief gives me a lot of hope considering they co-founded io9 (back when it was good!) and they're a great author (I love the hell out of The Terraformers). I'm not familiar with the rest but I trust Newitz to assemble a good group of people to produce this right.
