Starliner Ticket, Anyone?

I got to messing around in Illustrator, and decided to do some documents for a futuristic airliner/starliner... a "boarding pass", and a "safety card", lol. I like the way they have come out so far, and may do some more.

For those air disaster film trivia buffs, you may recognize the logo I used for the Cosmopolitan Travel Authority as the same logo that was used for "Columbia Air", in the movie "Airport 1975".

It could fit in perfectly as Bowman's boarding pass in 2001. It's got that retro-futuristic feel to it. Nice!

Thanks all, for the kind words.

I need to watch 2001 again... I don't recall what the boarding pass looked like from that film. Here's a little "homage" backstory to this document...

In this universe, Cosmopolitan is a world where an entire hemisphere is one massive mega-city, and the other hemisphere is utterly natural, and untouched by civilization. I thought about adding the Japanese characters, as an homage to Blade Runner, as Blade Runner had not only a vast city, but a proliferation of many kinds of signage and lettering styles among the scenery.

No less than 15 fonts were used in this document, and no fonts were harmed in the making of this document. :D I'll have to check again to see the names of all the fonts I used.

My thinking was to create an individual and unique "look" for the documents in this universe, and I figured that the more visual variety there is on a document, the more it'd catch your eye, or make you interested enough to at least read it. Plus, it makes sure it's not mundane. :D
