Stargate Universe Ratings

Good to hear. I actually enjoy SG Universe quite a bit, one day I'll have to actually give the other two series a shot.
 
I dunno, I hope it gets better. It's actually starting to bore me like Sarah Connor Chronicals did in Season 2.
 
It's missing the pluckiness the first two Stargate series had. That character is what made those shows so fantastic.

This new show has more of a BSG feel, but that filming style is too trendy and will be out of date really quickly. The old stargate shows you can watch a decate later and not be annoyed with the style.
 
^ Yeah, I'm not fan of Universe either, but I'm glad it's doing well. Of all the complaints I can make about Universe, laziness isn't one of them. The writers are trying hard to make a good show, but it's just not what I was looking for. I'm hoping they do a bit of a retool for season two.
 
Now let's see how those numbers compare after this long break... will everyone come back....
 
The ratings will drop very sharply once most of the viewers inevitably give up on the show. The first half was the 'let's hope it gets better' phase.
 
Remove the bullshit factor from skiffy's ratings, and you get 1-2M viewers. I wouldn't be surprised if those numbers hold. You can get 1-2M people watch just about anything. That's a very small percentage of the total viewing public, and specific niche tastes could account for the whole thing. I could see 1-2M people being willing to watch a test screen as long as it's labeled "Stargate." I've personally gotten to the point where I'd do the same, as long as the label were "Star Trek." :D
