I was flipping through my copy of "The Making of Star Trek Deep Space Nine" last night so it's fresh in mind that concept art doesn't mean diddley squat. Even if they go with those designs, it still has to be filtered though a production budget.

One thing we could glean, however, is that we'll probably be seeing alot of that recurring circular emblem.

So to make the point again, concept art is only that. What the finished product looks like in Universe could be wildly different from the concepts.
