Stargate: Gears of War 2!

Sci Fi ran a half hour special, promoting the new Gears of War 2 video game. And I couldn't help thinking while admiring the visual designs of the cities, vehicles and body armor, that Pegasus galaxy planets should've looked more like Gears! I mean, wouldn't it have been wonderful if the Geni possessed weapons and vehicles-the means to actually take a proactive stance against it's enemies? They'd be a real threat to the Atlantis Expedition then, instead of the dorks they've turned into.

And I wanna see a platoon of Satedans ala Delta Squad, with those rifle/chainsaw thingies.

I wanna see humans in body armor weilding those chainsaws slicing wraith in half.

Ground tanks that can go thru the gate! Gate Troop carriers!

Collosal ruined cites with cool ornate architecture, no more sleepy renaissance fair villiages.

Wraith meat cubes!

Damn...talk about your missed opportunities.

I would've liked to see the factions from Killzone show up in Stargate. IIRC, Sony has a lot of product placement in Stargate, so it wouldn't be too farfetched.

The problem is that most actors typically don't take steroids and look like giant walking muscles.
