Spy photos, apparently of the Academy -- including red uniforms and gray uniforms, with some miniskirts, hats, and a very '60s-ish retro-futuristic hovercar (I'm half expecting to see Lazarus behind the wheel):

Well, I could see some women in skirts, so definitely seems like we'll be getting Starfleet uniforms with them too if cadets are wearing them.
 
Very cool! It seems like they are really going for an epic look. Don't really like the retro-futuristic golf car, though. But I won't start a thread to rant about it. ;)
 
the license plate on the car looks like a current California Dealer plate to me.. can you picture a 23rd century car lot? (BEAM ON DOWN!!)
 
If the building is Starfleet Academy then why does it look different from the one we've seen in the other shows or can we assume that this either a different building on the same campus or in the 100 years between the Academy went through a rebuild?

Maybe JJ knows we're tired of seeing the Tillman Water Reclamation Plant.
 
Nice to see they're using the Northridge Campus. Half the San Fernando Valley will be in this film; you'd THINK they might actually do some principal photography in, you know, San Francisco, where Starfleet Acadamy actually is. Instead, we're getting the flatlands of Reseda, Northridge and Chatsworth.

Half those extras are probably doing porn for Ron Jeremy.

It looks like a chefs convention, the cadets all look like they work at Burger King.
 
How come the A is different and the B doesn't look just right? And why is C the wrong color and why does D look all wrong? :scream:

Just kidding. Looks great! I already feel like I'm being transported back/forward into TOS. Can't wait! :D
