real-time graphics & interactive: a new dimension in storytelling
virtual reality, augmented reality, real-time cinema, theme park entertainment and narrative-based experiences for future platforms. Imagine what that is...

so very cool stuff with real-time interactive graphics in the Star Wars universe. This is the next type of gaming as well as next type of narrative-based storytelling. Forget the tie ins of gaming and TV shows like 2013's Defiance: The First Video- Game Television Show.

Lucasfilm and ILM have launched an interactive unit [the ILM Experience Lab (ILMxLAB)] that's working on additional content
this Star Wars content will be available for mass-market VR goggles, specialized VR and AR, and immersive cinema. “And the initial, most high-end experiences will be in the [Disney] parks.”
immersive cinema at the Disney parks and then probably Augmented Reality (AR) at the Disney parks.
I can see this being a big thing on Disney cruise ships the VR & AR. I can see them charging$ for it on the ships.

the first such project, a Jurassic Park experience, is being demoed with Oculus Rift prototype VR goggles
60fps live-action film environment in 3D stereo at 360 degrees.
wow.
So this will obviously be a tie-in with Jurassic World for Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 this week Now, in time for the film's release, the Jurassic World Apatosaurus experience is available on the Oculus Store for free.
the companion experiences that we've done are relatively short explorations -- Wild was under four minutes; Jurassic World is about three minutes -- that allow us to deepen our understanding of VR storytelling.

That's very interesting. Very holo-decky. I wonder how long before it's marketed.
