I thought it was fun. Anthony Daniels is always a hoot as C3PO; they should use him more. (I think that he and Jar-Jar are the only two Star Wars characters who have always been voiced by the original actor in every spin-off or adaptation.) And Jar-Jar doesn't really bother me that much, and I thought he was pretty brave and capable here. It was interesting to see Greedo's homeworld, and the environment was imaginative.
Padme was pretty cool too. Her "Oh, you've come, Master Jedi" ruse in the escape was too obvious and broad, but I could live with it because it's been established that the droid troopers are really, really dumb. (Maybe the Separatists deliberately give them low intelligence to ensure they don't get uppity and rebel?)
Can someone explain the origin and meaning of the term "Bombad?" I assume it's a bit of Jar-Jar speak, but "Uncle Onno" referred to JJ as "Master Bombad" near the end, and I don't recall hearing JJ use the word. Although it's often hard to figure out what he's saying.
Continuity: Gunray is arrested during the Clone Wars? Remind me, did he have any role in Episode III? Is this to explain his absence in the film, or are we to assume he later escapes? I think I'd prefer the latter anyway, since this show really needs more recurring villains than just Grievous.
