Star Wars Penomenas in Space

In the SW films, every time they show pace..it's simply stars. The only kind of spacial phenomina that I can remember is the Rishi Maze (the mini galaxy at the end of ESB) but then today I was watching ROTS and noticed a nebula like formation under the Tantive 4 just as Obi Wan intercepts it. The shot throws me off every time because in SW I'm not used to it.

You guys notice anyhting else?

yeah they count! I didn't think of them. But it's odd, when I saw that shot of Tantive 4 I knew soemthing was unusual

Well, play the MMO EVE for a few days and you will be happy to see a star scape with just stars. The game designers there seem to thing nebulae out number stars - yeesh.

I actually like Lucas' non-nebula aesthetic for SW. I think it lets us focus on the action
