I just finished reading Asimov's Foundation trilogy. Good stuff. Anywho, I couldn't help but see some similarities between the planet Coruscant in SW, and the planet Trantor in Foundation. Yes, I know Foundation came first!
I'm just wondering if that was an intentional homage, or inspiration for Star Wars, or if it was a huge coincidence.
