Star Wars E-book Price Alerts

Thanks to JD for the inspiration.
On the Trek Forums there is an Ebook Price Alert thread. For awhile now, some Star Wars ebooks drop in price monthly from $7.99 to $4.99 occasionally. Unlike Trek there are no actual webpages posted from the publisher. These prices are posted from Amazon.

Be warned though, there are SOME older Star Wars ebooks increasing to $8.99 (Ex. The Han Solo Adventures by Brian Daley was $7.99 and is now $8.99). $4.99 is usually the lowest ebooks will go for Star Wars on sale. Unlike Trek's $.99 cent and $1.99 monthly deals.

@JD too much Klingon Blood Wine? Nah, it's probably for maximum effect to have it on the 5th on a Sunday when people would be home looking for ebooks. Not when people are out on Saturday partying maybe?

ANOTHER STAR WARS DEAL:
Dark Disciple is $5.49 on sale now a drop from $13.99 I think. Its the only price drop since its release. A great book.

I love your price updates in this thread. In case you are ever ill or on vacation, how are you finding out about the price breaks? Doing a daily search with price from low to high or something more elegant?

To quote the immortal RUN DMC "It's not a mystery, its history and hear's how it goes..."

I just use the method you mentioned exactly, and that that came from Stdyer started it on the Star Trek thread and I just check once a day.

I have been checking on Amazon daily for Star Wars deals for May the 4th this year has been EPIC to say the least at $4.99 some of these ebooks are the cheapest they have ever been since most of the older ebooks were released in 2011 at $5.99.

I can't stress this enough, if you miss a ebook deal that ebook COULD go as high as $8.99 although I have seen two CLONE WARS novels at $10.99 and $11.99. So please be warned.

Who knows where the prices could end up after the sales honestly.

But to be honest. Im not taking any chances. Enjoy all.

I love how Death Star turned out and its mix of new and established Legends characters.

The Paradise Snare is $4.99 now. The entire trilogy is discounted, even if it's only $1 for The Hutt Gambit. This is one of the crown jewels of Star Wars Legends.

Han Solo trilogy book 1 the paradise snare $4.99

The prices for most of the ebooks are going back to $7.99 or $8.99. The discounted prices usually stays on sale for two or three weeks then revert back.

Hands down A.C. Crispin's Han Solo trilogy and Brian Daley's Han Solo Adventures are incredible. The Solo movie just took the best elements of AC's books and she really worked with a lot of care to incorporate Brian Daley's stories into hers. Its sad they both passed away. But best to enjoy and celebrate their great works
