Star Trek XII - The Wrath Of Spock's Pon-Far

USS Excelsior

Commodore
Commodore
Synopsis:

NuSpock goes through his Pon-Far but this leads to a crisis when there's no planet Vulcan to return to and probably no T'Pring either.

This causes him to go mad for a time and NuSpock is the villain in this movie. So NuKirk has to make the impossible choice of whether to destroy NuSpock to save the Federation or find a way to save NuSpock by finding a potential mate.

Someone that has to bone, there's a difference!

The Federation and NuSpock need to be rescued, but the cliffhanging question would be as to risk trying to get NuSpock to bone and save the Federation at the same time, or risk it's destruction, or decide to not take a chance and destroy NuSpock.

That's the type of question that someone would ask after watching Star Trek XII as being a plothole, but then the only answer would be that there would be no film if they did that.

I believe NuSpock will recklessly rip a hole in the space-time continuum and get caught in it. They will have run out of Red Matter of course so in this movie there will be Blue Matter instead.

Blue Matter will do one of two things, either destroy the whole Federation or transport the ship caught in it into another Universe.

This is where it is hoped that NuSpock ends up in the Prime Universe where he can get to Prime Vulcan that's still there, this of course creates a NuPrime Universe when it turns out that NuSpock has to fight Prime Spock who recently has been converted into NuPrime Spock to win NuPrime T'Pring. And either way NuPrime Stonn has to pack sand.

So basically NuSpock threatens to use the Blue Matter to destroy the rest of the NuFederation because he has no Vulcan to return to for his NuPon-Far.

But NuKirk has to decide between blowing up NuSpock or manipulating the Blue Matter to transport NuSpock into the Prime Universe where Vulcan is still there, but he would not in fact end up in the Prime Universe, but a NuPrime Universe would be created, as well as a corresponding NuPrime Mirror Universe to match.

That sound you hear is the sound of every Trek fan's head exploding.

Yea the NuTrek Universe would become the NotSoNuTrek Universe since now there would be a NuPrime Universe to take it's place.

Unlike the episode the movie probably wouldn't start off with the Pon-Far so the bowl of soup being thrown may not occur until half an hour into the movie.

I'll have some of what he's having.

On second thought...never mind.

uhh... that might have been well thought, but in print, it only makes my brain bleed.

i liked amok time, but could you really write a movie around it? the 1 hour episode wrapped it up rather neatly.

blue matter's a cool idea though.

i suppose you could throw the idea around and stretch it out a bit and make it work.

i guess.

There would be alot more at stake here than what went on in Amok Time, there's the prospect of the destruction of the Federation with NuSpock gone wild, in an irrational fit of rage to take it out on the rest of the Federation because he has no Vulcan to go back to to get laid.

So NuKirk must manipulate the Blue Matter to send NuSpock into the Prime Universe to get to the Vulcan that still exists but to instead fight Prime Spock which creates a NuPrime Universe.

^ it wouldn't really matter if the prime universe was altered, so u dont need a nuprime universe: thats just confusing!

as i previously stated: i guess it could work.
